I must say this is a very innovative idea. Gender violence has become one of the societal problem affecting communities especially women and children. What pains most is that those people whom they turn to for help ends up not offering the necessary help. But with this strategy of bringing the key players on board, I have a feeling gender violence will be dealt with effectively. However, I feel the need of involving the community leaders, chiefs and assistant chiefs.Reason being, these leaders are in direct contact with the community members and community members have confidence in them.

Thank you @gracekibatha It is true the community leaders are a big players in this. I will add the Chief and Assistant chiefs in the list as Ward Administrators.

@gracekibatha good idea, because in Kenyan setting where there are minimal police posts/stations, the chiefs take up the role of maintaining law and order. Even though with chiefs we may need to create more awareness on their role in abating this crime since they dont have powers of prosecution. I have seen instances like (http://bit.ly/2qEuGgx) where perpetrators were only given slashing a compound as a punishment and wer not prosecuted for the offence. But yes I can have in mind the different set-ups around the country.
