This should be a deal breaker. Students must be able to download files. Projects could be a different issue.

Why closed?
I closed it because found out that it does have the ability to download files.
In general, you should leave a comment that justifies the closing of the issue (for example, a commit number, label). In this case, however, I did not see a download feature on codenvy.com, so I would need to see more evidence of this.
