Going to go ahead and merge this to master, been testing it for a few weeks now.

Fixes the logging bug, wasn't logging before
Added an "always connect" and "notification dashboard" showing speed and battery change. Both are optional and by default off. Notification dashboard still needs work, goal is to display on the lock screen the current battery and speed.

Crushing this pull request, @audkar has improved notifications and with cother hanges the "always connect" needs refactored. There is still the fix for location tracking that needs to go on, will do that in a separate branch.
