Currently, there's a main window and a couple of seldom-used (I think) ‘special’ windows for single plots with particular preset configurations. It would be much more useful to support multiple ‘main’ windows, along with more configurability of individual plots (as opposed to plot types).
For instance, having one window set up with Zplots, EA demag plots etc. and one with the site/suite level data (suite EA plot, depth vs. whatever biplots) would make a lot of sense, particularly if we support multiple fits and the suite window has a control for "use fit ‘ChRM’", "use fit ‘overprint’", etc.
