It should only tell to upload sequences of image files (even though we can still upload h5). Also It should include a link or a little, mouse-hover note with short instructions on how to get images exported from the two machines. I will write that note.

To export sequentially-named image files from

  1. Heidelber Engineering "Heyex" software: right click on the scan volume and choose Export>as Picture from the context menu. Then choose a location and format for export ('tif' format recommended).
  2. Topcon "3DOCT" software: when visualising the scan, select Export>All B-scan Image(Original resolution) from the top menu. Then choose a location and format for export ('tif' format recommended).

I don't understand why we should not mention a feature that we are providing.

I think that we should tell users to upload a sequence of images but then also mention h5 in brackets), so that people know that this is a feature we provide?

h5 is a format that Nik has used, the structure within the h5 is customised, therefore we would not be able to read any h5 unless they were made exactly as Nik did..
