Sidecar says connected but I only get a black screen #36

So I have a late 2103 Mac Pro and I am wired to my 3rd generation iPad Pro with a USBC to USB A.

Sidecar says its connected but I do not see it as an extended desktop and I also can't see windows when I drag over or choose to show them on my iPad.

Is there a fix for this issue?
