After SIP is reenabled, Finder crashes upon restart of MacOS 10.15.6

Error log shows

...SidecarCore not valid for use in process using Library Validation: mapped file has no Team ID and is not a platform binary (signed with custom identity or adhoc?)

I have the same problem. It seems work well only in SIP disabled environment otherwise the finder and other software such safari will crash. I don’t know what to do next except keep disabling SIP protection.

hankcs commented 4 years ago

Chrome crashes too, even when SIP is disabled.

Same case here

daron4ever commented 3 years ago

I have the same issue and we should use it with SIP disabled prior to fixing.

snow4us commented 3 years ago

I gave this a try and, as much as I love that I can use my Ipad as a second display, it is not worth it because of the issues that pop up with SIP disabled. Enabling SIP renders my mbp unusable. I hope there is a workaround as I would love to have this functionality.

To clarify, with SIP disabled I have a ton of issues giving security permissions for apps that need to access my macbook pro's microphone and camera.

Same here with a MBP 2015 please help!

Have the same issues on a MBP 2012. At the risk of sounding like an absolute idiot, what's the best way to remove the patch completely? Not worth the hassle with SIP disabled.

amteixeira1969 commented 3 years ago

My answer will sound idiotic for sure, but when I decided to uninstall it, I went for an OS restore. It wasn’t so bad, went quicker than I expected...

Sweet. I'll just do that. Thanks for your reply
