changing password #9

  1. I downloaded and create first account on electrum-ltc
  2. I set the password to encrypt the wallet and the seed
  3. in the main window click on bottom right in the seed, i digit the password and i see the seed with any problem
  4. if I ask to change password...problem: first line i type the same password used for the seed, second line new password, third line confirm of new password...always get the same error of wrong password What's wrong? why it doesn't work? Thank you

Thank you for reporting. This is now fixed.

I also noticed that plugin of QR scans can't work. I downloaded and installed zbar package, but no way. I also don't understand why I have 5 receiving address and 3 change address.

I have no issue with the QR scans. I enable the plugin, restart the client, and I can scan QR codes. Regarding addresses, Electrum generates them as needed.

The zbar issue is a known issue on some platforms: https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/610

pooler: at contrary after installation of zbar package, electrum even after restart doesn't give me the option to enable QR scans.. do you think I have to uninstall and reinstall both with a different order?

As wozz pointed out, the zbar issue also affects upstream Electrum, and it is still unresolved.

I'm closing this ticket as we've gone off topic.
