Challenge Description

Create a website targeted to people who have never used crypto. Explain what PoolTogether is and the steps needed to join the pool. Integrate with a fiat on-ramp and wallet provider so they can get fully setup and then hop over to app.pooltogether.com and join!

Submission Requirements

A hosted and fully functioning microsite! Someone who has zero experience with crypto and PoolTogether should be able to visit this site, learn what PoolTogether is and learn the simplest way for them to try it out.

It is okay if it only works in certain geographies (i.e. if you integrate with Wyre which only offers payment processing in certain countries).

You can use a site builder for this, that is why code is optional.

Submission Deadline

May 27th at Midnight EST

Judging Criteria

The primary judging criteria will be the usability and creativity of the project. We will be looking for the project that we can refer people to who ask about what PoolTogether is and how to get started. We are looking for submissions that can actually continue to be used after the hackathon. The judging team will be the core members of PoolTogether (3) along with the community advocates (4).

I will develop the nitty-gritty of Pool Together to new users in an easy, fun, and consistent landing page. 4) saitejakuruva has started work.

  1. Get the designs of the pool together from the perspective of a non crypto users.
  2. Convert these designs into vue js components and stitch them together according to the UI flow.
  3. Integrate the On ramp and wallet into the project.
  4. Verify all the requirements of the project by testing and continuous iterate for the improvements.

I'll use Fortmatic's magic links for key management, Wyre for the fiat on-ramp, and the GSN + minimal proxy contracts to avoid needing ETH for gas. This will let users join without knowing anything about Ethereum. 6) tgrecojs has started work.

My teammate & i will be implementing a web application with custom written code. The application is planned to be act as an interactive tour that takes users thru the site & explains the aspects of the pooltogeher platfom. 7) kanika1799 has started work.

I will create a microsite that helps users to understand what is pooltogether and make onboarding easy. 8) anaisdu has started work.

We are ready to submit our project: a landing to onboard absolute beginners on pooltogether. 9) nestorbonilla has started work.

The microsite aims to add subtle and elaborated animations to create a sense of trust in the potential user of the technology, using light gray and the purple brand color to be in line with the perception we want to achieve. We have selected carefully the used colors to transmit: peace (light gray), trust (purple), with a little of joy (yellow).
