Applications are not showing up in the applications menu #211

How did you upgrade to 21.04? (Fresh install / Upgrade)

from the terminal with the command provided in README

Issue/Bug Description: Applications are not showing up in the applications menu but showing up in the dock.

Steps to reproduce (if you know): Just have a look at the applications menu and the dock

Expected behavior: Items should show up in the applications menu
