How did you upgrade to 21.10? (Fresh install / Upgrade)

Fresh install

Issue/Bug Description: Adding a program's shortcut to the favorite menu (dock) removes the application from the "Applications" menu.

Steps to reproduce (if you know): Right click any program in the Applications menu and select "Add to favorites". The program will appear in the dock as a favorite but it will be removed from the Applications menu. You can still find the package if you search for it, but it will not be visible in the menu.

Expected behavior: After adding a package/program to favorites it should still visible in the Application menu

Other Notes: Maybe add this as a feature in the Settings menu? The ability to select if the programs I have in my favorite menu should still be visible in the Application menu without searching for them.

Thank you for trying the beta. I'm closing this as a duplicate of https://github.com/pop-os/beta/issues/242.
