Inconsistent colors for highlighted text #337

How did you upgrade to 21.10? (Fresh install / Upgrade)

Fresh install in Boxes

Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME):

pop-gtk-theme:
    Installed: 5.4.5~1634918910~21.10~23d7ac8
    Candidate: 5.4.5~1634918910~21.10~23d7ac8
pop-cosmic:
    Installed: 0.1.0~1639089866~21.10~9263ad3
    Candidate: 0.1.0~1639089866~21.10~9263ad3

Issue/Bug Description: Color for highlighted text vary among application with the default pop-gtk-theme. Sometimes even making text much harder to see.

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

  1. Open Firefox & highlight some text in it's address/search bar.
  2. Repeat step 1 with Files app & the new Application Library.

Expected behavior: Highlighted text & it's background should be consistent, though if it can't be helped, then at the very least text should be easily readable.

Other Notes:

Closing this since the color for highlighted text in application library is fixed, though still different than that of in firefox but my main issue of it not being easily readable(in application library) is solved.
