Switching between workspace containing Spotify and other workspaces causes visual glitches #357

How did you upgrade to 22.04? (Fresh install / Upgrade)

Upgraded to 22.04 from 21.10

Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME):

Spotify Flatpak - version 1.1.80.699.gc3dac750

Issue/Bug Description:

When opening the Spotify app, it appears fullscreen in the current workspace, and when switching between that workspace and other workspaces, the resolution of my entire screen/desktop appears to switch momentarily, including briefly showing a black screen.

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

  1. Install Spotify Flatpak
  2. Open Spotify
  3. Switch between the current workspace and other workspaces
  4. Observe weird screen resolution glitches

Expected behavior: The Spotify app should operate as a window and not cause visual glitches affecting the whole desktop environment.

Hmm, I don't think I've seen that happen quite yet. Can you provide screenshots the next time it occurs? Also, what kind of GPU does your machine have?

This issue seemed to get resolved around the same time as #358, thanks.
