Mo8 shown in panel but in applet time it is Mo in the 8 month aka Missing Space. #562

The Panel shows a false Name for Monday. This Bug seems to occur just on monday.

(Side Note:) (Reminds of that iconic Ubuntu bug where Printers freak out on Thuesday lol)

I guess this is because now it is August, the eighth month. What language do you use? I see "Aug".

After testing a bit, it seems to most likely be caused by the applet failing to detect your locale. MO8 is displayed for me when I force it to use the fallback locale for formatting the date. What is the LANG environment variable set to?

where do i check it ? My regular locale or does Cosmic have a seperate config ?
