1 month ago I can't seem to reproduce the screen flashing with any app, but the tiled view does occasionally blink (shortly disappear, showing just the wallpaper) when the windows are resized. It blinks with every resize keypress when one of the windows reaches minimum size and continuing attempting to resize in that direction, and seems to happen with most apps. Though having a Mattermost window present seems to make the blinking at minimum size much less frequent.
The screen flashes black each keypress when Slack and Mattermost are tiled and moved with kb shortcuts. Both Xwayland apps.
With Firefox and COSMIC Files tiled it's less frequent but still occurs.
