Unable to switch to 240Hz mode #975

I am seeing the following error from cosmic-comp after attempting to set the refresh rate: cosmic-comp[5298]: Failed to apply config. Resetting

I added some extra logging to see what it was failing on below:

I forced it to apply the refresh anyways, and it does run at 240Hz after rebooting (can't get it to apply in the same session, just black screen).
