Was there a resolution to this? This caused my computer to be completely inaccessible after an update, since I was relying on the super key to open the launcher for everything.
The Pop-Shell extension was disabled, that's why it didn't work for me. Enabling the extension fixed the problem.
The pop shell extension is enabled for me and this is still an issue for me. Super works for Workspaces and Applications, but pressing it when Launcher is selected does nothing. This is the error in journalctl when pressing it

Opening launcher from the dock doesn't seem to work either. More errors in journalctl:
