Show applications appearing twice #137

Upgraded to Pop OS 22.04 yesterday evening, booted up this morning and i now have 2 "show application" icons on my dashboard.

I can disable the "colourful" button, but the "white dots" variant doesn't actually bring up my applications.

Occurring for me as well. How can we remove the "white dots" icon and/or get it to work correctly so the other icon can be removed?

Update: This seems to have the same root cause as #93 and can be fixed by resetting the 'dash-to-dock' settings through dconf editor as described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comments/rgfwog/comment/hok21hk/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Root cause fix would be great, but I think this particular issue can get folded into #93.
