Right-click menu on desktop does not go away when left-clicking desktop #1158

When I have right-clicked on the desktop I get a menu. To remove this menu I have to right-click on the desktop again. Left-clicking does not remove the menu.

The expected behaviour is that the menu disappears when I click the desktop. When right-clicking again on the desktop the expected behaviour is not that the menu disappears, but that the menu is moved to the location of the latest right-click.

The menu does close on both left and right click on my end. But I agree that a second right click should open the menu in the new location.

I have tested it on Fedora with the latest Cosmic packages, and using the alpha ISO in a virtual machine. Both gives the same result for me. No menu closing on left-click.

I have the same problem on Arch as the author. Version 1.0.0.alpha.3-1

Oh, I think I figured out what causes this. It happens when there are no icons on the desktop (by disabling them through desktop settings, or by just not having anything in the Desktop folder). I always had something on the desktop, so I couldn't reproduce before.
