[Bug] VirtualBox requires two attempts at minimization for keyboard to register on Host (Cosmic) again #557

I put this bug here because I've never run into this before and it happens even when USB integration is off for the VirtualBox. In order to get the keyboard to register in Cosmic/Pop!_OS rather than Windows (my VM), I need to minimize the VM, open it again, and minimize it again.

I face similar issue. I can't use the keyboard at the same time in host system (NixOS with Cosmic) and the VM (debian or any other). I need to tick and untick the keyboard in the list of usb devices shared to the VM. I don't have this issue when I'm working under NixcOS with Gnome. I didn't try the double time minimization solution.

I confirm that if I minimize the VM two times then, the host OS, Nixos with Cosmic can use the keyboard again.

Sounds like possibly a duplicate of https://github.com/pop-os/cosmic-comp/issues/449. The compositor generally handles input and window management.
