[Feature] Request for a pin tasks type widget embeded in the top bar #65

This is a small feature that if implemented can help people using the cosmic DE to arrange their tasks thus boosting productivity. Personally I use notion for that but it would be awesome if something like a small desktop widget or a small widget in the top bar can be implemented and shipped along with cosmic. Maybe we can also implement some feature that can change the behavior of alt tab by showing the applications in priority order according to the list rather than the most recently accessed application. Applications pertaining to a single task can be grouped under that task in the widget and Alt Tab will switch between those applications only when the user requires it.

is this practical for longer running tasks or short ones?

I think this would be a great feature for people working on longer tasks. Since all the windows related to that task would be present under the same subsection. This can help boost the productivity focused features of Pop-OS. Although there need to be some changes in how we wish to implement this but this can be a cool thing to have with us in this new desktop environment.
