During the custom installation process of Pop!_OS 24.04, when utilizing the GParted partition manager, the application unexpectedly closes without applying any pending changes to partitions. This behavior prevents users from modifying partitions as necessary for the installation, in my case I've used another live distro to modify partitions.
Expected Behavior:
GParted should successfully apply pending operations, allowing users to create, resize, or delete partitions as required during the custom installation process. Upon completion of the operations, the user should be returned to the main installation screen.
Steps to Reproduce:
Initiate a custom installation of Pop!_OS 24.04.
Access the GParted partition manager to modify partitions.
Make necessary changes to partitions (e.g., create, resize, delete).
Attempt to apply pending operations.
Observe that GParted closes without applying the changes.
