KDE Plasma has an xkill alternative in its Wayland session that you can activate with CTRL+META+ESC. The cursor transforms into a skull, and it will completely kill any application you click.
This would be a useful feature to have in COSMIC too.
Hyprland has similar functionality, and it's a nice way to deal with malfunctioning applications without having to map process IDs to windows and then send the appropriate signals. +1 from me.
