White square patch on the desktop.

A white square path appears on the desktop. This seems like an issue with the desktop as the patch does not appear on top of other application windows.

Do you have the kde xwayland-video-bridge installed? People have reported that causes a similar weird window on startup.

Yes I do. I have Cosmic installed alongside KDE.
