Applet icons take too much horizontal space #952

I use a combined panel and dock like windows with increased panel thickness. This results in applet icons pushing too far into the middle. Consider making the date applet use 2 rows to mitigate this.

The option for the Date & Time applet to use 2 rows is planned, once per-applet settings are implemented. Until then, you could possibly change the panel applet spacing in the config files (I think in ~/.config/cosmic/com.system76.CosmicPanel.Panel/spacing).
