Applets crashing repeatedly make the panel freeze

To reproduce:

• make an applets that crash directly
• add the applet to the panel
• wait some seconds
• remove the applets from the panel

This is how the panel will looks like:

The longer you wait before deleting the applet, the longer the panel will freeze. It will go back to normal after some time.
