Refresh rate can't be set to 120.00hz #16

My monitor is 2k 120hz, which runs smoothly under pop shell. But when in COSMIC, I can't switch to 120.00hz, preventing me from high refresh rate. Whenever I want to switch from anywhere to 119.998hz shown on the picture, it will automatically jump back to 120.66hz. screenshot-2024-05-07-21-57-59

Ping @mmstick. The selection issue sounds like some rounding/matching issue from cosmic-settings?

@engineerNg Can you try setting the desired refresh rate from the terminal with cosmic-randr? Does that work correctly?

How to do that? I can only set resolution via cosmic-randr, it seems not support changing refresh rate. I downloaded the cosmic-session through apt, so maybe the version is too old?

No that version is fine. cosmic-randr's mode command has a --refresh argument (see cosmic-randr mode --help. Just supply the current resolution.
