Cosmic-settings dragging applets past the "End segment" causes the interface to say "unknown"

in cosmic-settings go to Desktop -> Dock -> configure dock applets. Add an applet If you try to drag an applet and it accidentally goes past the drag point for "End Segment" the whole interface just changes to "unknown". The only way to fix it, is to reset to defaults.

Adding an applet is not required. Anything you drag past the end segment box will work.
