Unable To Pin Some Applications As Favorites To Cosmic Dock #209

SUMMARY

Some applications, installed using Eddy and Debian Packages, can not be pinned to the Cosmic Dock.

This forces the user to search for the application before being able to launch it.

One specific application displaying this behavior is FlashPrint

REPRO

Download the Debian package (5.1.1) of FlashPrint by FlashForge. (https://www.flashforge.com/download-center)
Install using Eddy
Search for application using the Meta Key
Launch
Right click on the FlashForge icon
OBSERVED: Reduced context menu
EXPECTED: The context menu to include "Add To Favorites"

ENVIRONMENT

Intel 9900k
Pop!_OS 21.04, with all patches current through 2021/09/26

After upgraded to 21.10, I am seeing this issue, but none of my applications gets added as favorite in the dock
