I use Manjaro Gnome, and ever since I updated to Gnome 40, the DING window has been showing up in the alt+tab window switcher thingy (both when cycling through applications and when cycling through individual windows). From the readme on this project, I can only assume that this is an as of yet unreported bug.

I have the same issue on Pop OS 21.04. Running Gnome Extensions, disabling and reenabling DING makes the issue disappear.
