Portugal uses the pt or pt-PT lang code. http://www.lingoes.net/en/translator/langcode.htm Since Gnome uses pt for Portuguese https://l10n.gnome.org/teams/pt/ I added pt here in the desktop-widget but sometimes on Debian or Ubuntu systems the /etc/default/locale loads pt_BR translations instead of the correct pt and so, to avoid confusion between the Portuguese language and the Brazilian Portuguese variant the pt-PT Portuguese (Portugal) is used instead...
