In the installer, we want to use a metaphor like "cleaning" for the fresh install option. In the elementary icon set, edit-clear works great for this both semantically and visually. However, in Pop!_OS this is a blocky, symbolic-looking action icon, which is not ideal in this context.
Right now in the installer, we are (terribly) using the gcleaner icon for its looks, semantics be damned. Instead, we should probably provide some sort of more semantic "clean" icon, or at the very least symlink a more semantic name to the same icon metaphor as the gcleaner icon.
