In Pop 19.04 the efi partition (at least on my setup) is automatically made to be 498 MiB when choosing the auto clean install option, but if you immediately reinstall and choose custom, that size is actually does not meet the installers minimum size, which appears to be 501 MiB when I increased its size incrementally.
Not a big deal at all, just thought I would report the inconsistency since if you want to reinstall and simply change the file system without touching the partitions, you can't since the boot/efi is flagged as too tiny.
