Clicking the keyboard icon next to “Type to test your layout” results in a crash with the error “WARNING: Running setxkbmap against an XWayland server”.
We probably have to patch the installer to detect COSMIC and handle it differently. I don't think there is a common wayland way to set input method, but there is a cosmic way.
