Desktop > Appearance: RGB/Hex selector is being weird

When I first open the color picker, it looks blank, with arrow buttons on either side:

If I click an arrow button, I see the RGB button appear, and it is unselected:

If I click the arrow again, I get the Hex button, but it's cut off:

I can still switch between RGB and Hex with the buttons, but navigating to them is pretty strange. Making the window wider doesn't seem to have any affect.
