The mouse pointer is different when you can click on a slider, than when you hover over a slider that is not clickable.
A slider is not clickable when it is currently sliding, at least it seems like that. But actually, demonstrated with the fast clicks, I am able to click on it multiple times, making it move back and forth faster than it seems the mouse pointer changes.
