While testing https://github.com/pop-os/linux/pull/205, I noticed that I could still get a normal headphone plug to detect as a combo headset with a very specific sequence of events:
1) Plug in a combo headset (TRRS plug)
2) Unplug the combo headset
3) Plug in headphones (TRS plug)
This results in the microphone switching to a non-existent combo headset microphone.
