Mesa commit https://github.com/pop-os/mesa/commit/cae9b47909a24bdbcfa4b065b885116b611a2141 states: Rusticl is disabled due to needing meson 0.64.1.
This issue exists to enable a notification when closed with Pop!_OS enabling Rusticl by default.
clinfo currently returns: Number of platforms 0
Applications such as BOINC projects (https://boinc.berkeley.edu/projects.php) are not harnessing GPU compute while Rusticl is disabled. Errors such as https://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/result.php?resultid=407109547 result with lack of default OpenCL support:
