For the record, when I bought a new 935 mouse and opened Mouse Configurator, the application curiously detected the mouse as the 930 model (and not 935).
I bought the 930 mouse (with my own money) and Mouse Configurator detects the 930 model just fine.
(Within the last 1-2 months, I've seen HP's US online store take $40 off the MSRP; making the price $59.99 before tax, especially since similar competing mice, like the Logitech MX Master series of mice are at least $100. This seems like a pretty good deal, especially as a person who has never used the MX Master mice and isn't very interested in wireless and high productivity computer mice.)
I'm 99% confident that the 930/silver version and the 935/black version only differ in outer chassis and product labeling. Otherwise, both are probably using the same PCB and firmware.
Hi all. Recently I've looking for a mouse with good support and configurable on linux. I noticed that there was a mouse (hp creator 935) included with hp dev one laptops. But in my country it's not anvilible to buy, so I decide to order HP creator 930 https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-silver-930-creator-wireless-mouse , but I was not sure if it will be possible to configure via mouse-configurator. It's turns out Mouse configurator works perfect with this model.
Maybe it's good idea to include this in description shop and in github page
