Success!
Thanks @cybik!
What's the point to releasing an old version (470.88) instead of the newest one? It's not even a fast process...

Both 470.88 and 495.44 were released on the same day (see https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/c/gpu-graphics/announcements-and-news/146), so neither can accurately be called an old version. They are different versions intended for different purposes.

Yeah but 495 is the most "feature rich" release, the one that makes this driver actually useful instead of the typical two bugfixes that we get... I hope it gets merged soon because 470, while better than 465, is awful... now that I think of, even 495 is awful so... forget what I said :-)
Will there be/is there a future pathway to install 495.xx officially, or will Pop only officially support the 470.xx "production" version?
The only user-facing change in 495 is the GBM library, which has not been integrated into any wayland compositor I know of yet.
Hi, do you have an ETA, when this will be released?

This is a new feature release. I would recommend trying to merge https://github.com/pop-os/nvidia-graphics-drivers/pull/124 first
