Regression testing has passed on Pop 22.04
on gaze15
, orpy4
, and GeForce RTX 3060
(Desktop).
Pop 20.04
has passed as well, but the gnome-shell
update in master staging is needed for Steam to start in NVIDIA mode.
Ubuntu 20.04
and 22.04
have both passed testing on gaze15
, orpy4
, and GeForce RTX 3060
(Desktop).
Ubuntu 20.04
will need the following packages release from master staging to launchpad to boot in NVIDIA graphics mode. Otherwise it will boot to a black screen with a blinking cursor on the left.
gnome-shell
gnome-shell-common
gnome-shell-extension-prefs
gnome-shell-extension-system76-power
plymouth
plymouth-label
plymouth-theme-spinner
plymouth-theme-ubuntu-text
libplymouth5
gir1.2-goa-1.0
libgoa-1.0-0b
libgoa-1.0-common
libgoa-backend-1.0-1
gnome-control-center
gnome-control-center-data
gnome-control-center-faces
gnome-terminal gnome-terminal-data
The following tests still need to be run.

It looks like the Pop 20.04 packages we need to release aren't building on Launchpad. Until those are released, this driver will break stuff on Pop 20.04.
What about 535? At this point, 525 is kinda outdated, since 535 has cool stuff in the changelog.
@gabriele2000 530 is on the few features branch, 525 is still nvidia's production branch. This was waiting on QA review for https://github.com/pop-os/systemd/pull/35
But this is outdated for 525, 525.116.04 is out now. So I will open that and close this shortly.
