Using the nvidia-container-toolkit and driver 435.20 packaged in the Pop official PPA gives an error (see https://github.com/NVIDIA/nvidia-docker/issues/1114 for more details and workaround). I was previously using driver 430 from the Pop official PPA with no issues.
I fixed it by using the 430 driver from the graphics-drivers PPA and using the official nvidia-docker repository. I'm not sure if the problem is the Pop Nvidia driver or the packaged nvidia-container-toolkit.
EDIT: It seems the issue lies within the nvidia-container-toolkit in the Pop OS repos. I've upgraded to 440.26 from the Ubuntu PPA with no issues.
EDIT2: I've confirmed the issue is in Pop's packaged nvidia-container-toolkit. I've switched to 440.31 from Pop and using the NVIDIA repo for the nvidia-container-toolkit.
