After updating to pop-os 19.10 and the most up to date NVIDIA drivers, I have experienced random stuttering in video playback and in video games.
Investigating the issue, I found out that the GPU usage drops from around 20 percent randomly. Because of this drop frames seeming disappear or 'stutter'.
Making any competitive video game I play now unplayable, as these drops hinder reactions.
The only information I have that may be helpful is I do not see this behaviour if I switch to KDE.
Problem with that being I do not want my system to be bloated with KDE packages, and I prefer using GNOME. Also needed to log out and in to play a few games is a inconvenience.
