HELP! Fans not working on PopOS

Summary I need some help. I wanted to use Pop OS instead of Windows but one really important issue I have so far is that my fans are not running and I can't seem to find a way to confirm if they are running. When I was running Windows 10, I could hear the fans running and now it is just silent. I really want to push forward and keep using Pop OS and would appreciate it if you can help me with this.

Issue

• I installed Pop OS 20.4 NVIDIA version on my laptop which originally hosted Windows 10 and my fans have not been working.
• I used to be able to control my fans and the mode they would be on Windows but I can no longer do that.
• I tried installing lm-sensors and fan control and was encountering this error: /usr/sbin/pwmconfig: There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed which apparently is pretty common.

Follow up questions:

1. Is there any program that you can recommend that can control the fan and its modes?
2. Is there a way that you can recommend that will help me determine if all my hardware is functional whilst using this OS?
