Distribution (run cat /etc/os-release): NAME="Pop!_OS" VERSION="20.04 LTS" ID=pop ID_LIKE="ubuntu debian" PRETTY_NAME="Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS" VERSION_ID="20.04" HOME_URL="https://system76.com/pop" SUPPORT_URL="http://support.system76.com" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://github.com/pop-os/pop/issues" PRIVACY_POLICY_URL="https://system76.com/privacy" VERSION_CODENAME=focal UBUNTU_CODENAME=focal LOGO=distributor-logo-pop-os

Issue/Bug Description: Usually I use 3 monitors in extended mode and when I first boot and then I plug in them is all ok. When the pc go in blank screen and I need to re-login two of the monitors show the same things, and are not extended like before blank screen.

I run into this as well. Have an external monitor plugged into my laptop.

If my laptop or monitor goes to sleep - when it wakes up - Pop forgets all my dual display settings. I then have to open settings, reselect my primary monitor, set my scaling etc.

@jimpriest You posted the same comment in https://github.com/pop-os/pop/issues/226#issuecomment-1048956644. That issue reports a workaround is to disable the HiDPI Daemon. Does turning the HiDPI Daemon Enabled switch off in the Displays settings page stop the issue from happening on your machine?

@jacobgkau No change. Updated settings and went to lunch. Came back, jiggled my mouse and the laptop screen woke up. The external monitor did not. Then I had to go to display settings, change the primary monitor (have to do this twice before it actually switches the to the external monitor). Then I have to reset my display scaling settings.
