Distribution (run cat /etc/os-release):

NAME="Pop!_OS" VERSION="20.04 LTS" ID=pop ID_LIKE="ubuntu debian" PRETTY_NAME="Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS" VERSION_ID="20.04" HOME_URL="https://pop.system76.com" SUPPORT_URL="https://support.system76.com" BUG_REPORT_URL="https://github.com/pop-os/pop/issues" PRIVACY_POLICY_URL="https://system76.com/privacy" VERSION_CODENAME=focal UBUNTU_CODENAME=focal LOGO=distributor-logo-pop-os

Related Application and/or Package Version (run apt policy $PACKAGE NAME):

Lutris / MTGA

Issue/Bug Description:

So sorry if this isn't the right place to do this. I don't really know what I'm doing. Anyway, after using MTGA (via Lutris), my mouse becomes nearly useless. I can't click on anything outside of the exact program that's in focus. I can't even access the toolbar and have to use '$sudo reboot' to eventually get back control. I'm still able to see the cursor, navigate with the keyboard, and click within apps, but nothing else. It's just super annoying to constantly keep restarting my computer.

Steps to reproduce (if you know):

Open MTGA via Lutris, play for a bit (it isn't instant) while tabbing in and out. Then close. It's about 90% effective for me.

Expected behavior:

I just want help to not go crazy.

Other Notes:

I deeply apologize if this is in the wrong place, out of line, or done incorrectly. I'm just another fool in this confusing world...

If you press Alt-F2, r, and Enter to restart GNOME Shell, does that recover your mouse without having to reboot?

What hardware are you using? What model of graphics card?

You did it!!! Thank you so much.

This is as much information as I know about my hardware.

Restarting GNOME shell does the trick for me though. Thanks again. Ben Adams {personal information redacted by @leviport }

Hello, I have this issue too. Same version of PopOS and also solve restarting gnome shell.

Thanks.
