You can debug your GNOME shell by opening the shell command prompt with Alt + F2 and typing lg
which will bring up "Looking Glass" from there you can search what caused your shell to misbehave.

This sounds like it could be an issue with the dash-to-dock extension. My daily driver is currently a Lemur Pro and I've not seen it become unresponsive once in the several weeks I've been running 20.10. I don't use dash-to-dock though, so that might be the distinguishing factor.
Distribution (run
cat /etc/os-release
): POP os 20.10, on Lemur proRelated Application and/or Package Version (run
apt policy $PACKAGE NAME
):Issue/Bug Description: Applications on dash to dock and right click will not launch when clicked sometimes. Restarted will temporarily fix the issue. Computer does not appear to freeze but is unresponsive.
Steps to reproduce (if you know):
Expected behavior: Shell is expected to behave normally.
