I had the same problem in my lenovo laptop. I was able to solve this turning my laptop off for 20 minutes and turning it on on battery, without the charger. I don't know why, but this had solved the problem twice for me, first with the kernel update in 20.04 and now when I updated to 21.10

So... Believe it or not, it has worked!

I don't have a laptop but I left the pc unplugged all night and this morning the bluetooth is toggled on...

I had this issue pop up at my Dell XPS13 today after having run Pop_os with zero issues for more than a year having upgraded multiple times from 20.04 to 22.04. Indeed switching off and starting without the power connected resolved it. I only waited a couple of minutes.

This happened to me on my Desktop after running the latest pop!_os for about 2 weeks and then out of nowhere the Bluetooth stopped working . After a few reboots it still wouldn't start. Unplugged the power supply, pressed power button to get rid of any current still in there. Plugged it back it, and it worked fine.

Incredible. Dell 9510, let the battery drain to nothing - to the point that I could push the power button with absolutely no response. Left it for 5 more minutes, plugged it in, turned it on and I was able to detect bluetooth signals again. I'd love to here a guess at what happened here?
