Issue/Bug Description
This is somewhat of a weird one. I sort of exprienced it also on my previous Ubuntu install (16.04), but I noticed something today that made me think that there is something internal that is the issue.
If I log in to my ServiceNow (http://service-now.com/) work instance and I leave it open and walk away, the system won't dim the screen or unlock on its own. ServiceNow has some rudimentary chat capabilities within them, and when I reported the bug to them they thought that the issue was WebRTC. So I switched to Firefox.
Today I was using Streamtuner2, which opens up a Totem window to stream music and the system did not lock or dim the screen on its own. I went to Firefox and opened the radio station's web page to stream audio and I had the same behavior. The screen wouldn't lock on its own.
If I use Super+L, the screen locks and turns off immediately.
Steps to reproduce (if you know)
Open a ServiceNow instance page in Chromium and leave it open. Walk away. (I can provide an acount!)
Stream music in Totem from a radio station
Stream music in Firefox
Expected behavior
The system should lock on its own if I get up and walk away at the defined time interval without intervention.
Other Notes
Ubuntu 16.04 did it before I used Pop!. So it may be something deeper. :-/
So I switched my streaming music app from Totem to Banshee and now it locks OK. So that's solved. Still the issue with Chromium and ServiceNow remains.
