No idea, can be touchpad drivers, I don't know which exact package has got to do with this bug. It is an Elan Touchpad.
Issue/Bug Description:
After using the computers for 30mins-1hour, the mouse pointer lags (as good as unusable) when moved with the touchpad. External wireless mouse works perfectly.

Don't know. Could be hardware-specific
Expected behavior:
No lags when moving mouse pointer using the touchpad
